Spring is coming!
I suddenly realised that it was past 5 a couple of days ago and still light! I mentioned to the Twinkles’ daddy that this time of year fills me with SUCH heady anticipation. Almost the complete polar opposite of when the clocks go back and there’s the grim realisation that we’ve got MONTHS of cold, dark days before we reach the spring.
And then this time of year I’m suddenly filled with an excitable optimism.
Delight in knowing that — in a few week’s time — the clocks will again go forward and light, long days will be ours once more.
I LOVE IT!
Lovely to see lots of last week’s Home Etc posts with floral styling. Lots and lots of tulips — a sure sign too that spring is nearly here!
A Patterned Tiled Floor
The first comes from KA who writes at Life As Our Little Family.
She shared her gorgeous bathroom makeover. I absolutely loved this — particularly the patterned tiled floor. I’ve been looking at similar floor tiles recently — they’re so lovely and give the room a fresh feel.
I did a tiny mini-makeover, on our ensuite bathroom, back in December but didn’t replace the flooring in there. I LOVE the patterned tiles that Kerry has used in her bathroom and have my eye on something very similar.
They make such a lovely change to plain flooring and really give the space some personality.
